Pfeiffer University’s Health Science Center provides an additional resource for affordable healthcare while revitalizing downtown Albemarle by becoming home to hundreds of full-time college students and the associated faculty and staff.

Located in historic downtown Albemarle, the Center is home to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Occupational Therapy programs. The facility features the Center for Advanced Clinical Simulation Education (CACSE), which includes four simulated ICU rooms, a surgical suite, and an emergency department trauma bay. Each of these rooms is equipped with a high fidelity, computerized human simulator. Additionally, the CACSE features a fully functional clinic with six exam rooms, where faculty and students provide community health services.
