This Facilities Master Plan Update provided a template based on program and facility needs that will allow Davidson-Davie Community College to fulfill its mission as it continues to grow over the next ten years.
Projections clearly indicate that the greatest facility need is the consolidation, expansion and future growth of Health Science programs. Existing programs are constrained and in several locations on the campus. In addition, there is no available space for new or proposed programs. This process determined that a new Health Sciences Center was needed to support consolidation, expansion and growth over the next ten years. The new building also allowed for vacated spaces to be used to meet an immediate need for other academic and student support spaces.
