With approximately 63,000 adults lacking a high school diploma in the Washington, DC area, Goodwill Industries recognized the need for a charter school specializing in adult education.
Located in a downtown office building, the Goodwill Excel Center utilizes classroom space on the lower level and childcare and program offices on the level above. The design team incorporated unique lighting, branding/environmental graphics to craft a learning experience that inspires students to thrive and where students see themselves as productive adults entering the work force.

Little’s knowledge of classroom design combined with their focus on creating a place where students will have a range of opportunities; to work, create and interact with others has created a unique learning and teaching environment. We could not have asked for better partners.
