This Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies Unit is the only one of its kind in the region, and one of only three in the entire state of North Carolina.
Specifically designed for pediatric and young adult patients, this eight-bed hematologic oncology suite features state-of-the-art, positive pressured environments with HEPA-filtered air that is required to help treat childhood cancers, bone marrow failure, immunodeficiencies and blood diseases. The suite includes a playroom, a critical factor in holistic healing, providing young patients a sense normalcy and control while still being in the required positive pressure environment.
Thank you to Little for your kind support, creativity, dedication and commitment to Levine Children’s hematology and oncology program.
