Retailers help shape our daily experiences, and financial indicators point to a year of robust growth in this industry, especially as more individuals get vaccinated, at least according to the National Retail Federation, the country’s largest retail trade association. The federation predicts that Americans will spend at record levels in 2021, prompting retail sales to grow between 6.5% and 8.2% to more than $4.33 trillion. Projected sales growth unlike anything we’ve seen since 2004.
The spaces we engage with as consumers, and the experiences those environments create, encompass the spectrum of our lifestyles. Many of them are hybrid spaces where we Shop, Play, Eat and Live.
