Curious designer who encourages a collaborative culture

With his roots in journalism and urban design, Michael brings a deep curiosity and a strong design approach grounded in placemaking and the human experience to every project.

He has a breadth of experience in mixed-use and adaptive resue projects and an award-winning portfolio of diverse projects ranging from small interior upfits to 20-story office towers to masterplans. As a Design Principal in Little’s Durham office, Michael has a passion for instilling an iterative and collaborative design process to shape unique design solutions that impact communities in meaningful and socially responsible ways. Throughout his more than 14 years of practicing architecture, Michael has worked with such clients as Wake Tech Community College, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Trinity Capital Advisors and Regency Centers. Michael is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and AIA.
