Today’s episode of If Buildings Could Talk focuses on providing young people in our community with the opportunity to learn the game of life through the game of golf. With an emphasis on character-building and healthy habits, First Tee of Greater Charlotte focuses on the inherent values learned through golf to help prepare and shape our future leaders. Joining us on this episode is Ike Grainger, former First Tee Executive Director, who partnered with Phil Kuttner, Little’s CEO, on the design of First Tee of Greater Charlotte’s initial learning center. Also joining the conversation is Ian Bollinger, First Tee’s Director of Golf Operations, along with former student, Sameer Aery, and current student, Savannah Chiddick, who share how they’ve experienced personal growth by participating in the First Tee program.
